Be Bold... Be Strong... Jos 1:9

WHO WE ARE
Joshua House was formed in 2004 by Richard Korkowski after he had previously worked as a councillor at another recovery home called The Samaritan Inn. Richard felt called by God to open and run his own recovery homes, which he started with literally a few hundred dollars to his name. Joshua House quickly expanded to two houses then a third not long after that. Richard’s wife Angie left her job at the Salvation Army and came aboard as co-executive director. After a number of years of operating between 3 and 5 houses in Abbotsford, Joshua House took a big step forward by taking on The Creek, a remote, multi building facility in Chilliwack. Today Joshua House has The Creek plus 7 homes in the city of Abbotsford with a total capacity of some 101 men, and is generally run near or at capacity.
Joshua House has become one of the Fraser Valley’s largest and most respected recovery facilities from its very humble beginnings.
Joshua House's Board of Directors is committed to helping Richard and Angie Korkowski fulfill the vision.
